It is my pleasure to invite you to join us at the IWE Power Within…Women’s Summit scheduled for June 18, 2009 at the Sheraton at the Park, Anaheim CA.

This inaugural Summit is the largest cross-cultural state-wide gathering of women in Southern California. It is culmination of our work with over 6,200 business owners. Together, we will celebrate the Women’s Business Center of Excellence 2009, awarded to IWE by the U.S. Small Business Administration, the honorees of the Leaders of Distinction and showcase the achievements of women in business.

Women owned businesses in Orange County generate annual sales of over 39 billion dollars and employ over 220,000 people. Today, Orange County and Los Angeles County rank second in women-owned businesses. The Institute for Women Entrepreneurs (IWE), a non-profit economic development program of the Rancho Santiago, CCD Foundation, holds the distinction of being the first and only women’s business center in Orange County funded in part through a grant from the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Business and community leaders, government officials and advocates will attend this event and support the IWE’s goal of advancing the success of women in business.
